I've gained a lot of new interests and inspirations. Starting off fresh for a multitude of things and felt it was time for a change.

I've been pondering it for a few years now but now, I am finally ready to make the dive!

I know I don't really update my journals much of OFTEN lol... wonder if I am alive maybe??? (some of you perhaps wonder this) I wonder it myself!

Anyways...

Is anyone going to Anime AX this year in Los Angeles, CA?

I'll be there if you do go! I will be at table called "Naripoo Studios" at C16!!!

I won't be there for the whole time though... I'll be there July 3-4th (the weekend) But if you're there the other two days, you can visit my friend Nanjoo who will also be at the table. She also does wonderful art.

If you just so happen to be there, please take a trip over to "Artist's Alley" and stop by to come visit and hang out.

Let me know if you are planning to go or if you also will be at a table and hopefully we'll run into each other!

I know I have some art requests / commissions underway to complete.

Just wanted to write this as somewhat of a check list to keep myself in check! Paid commissions come first as a priority though so for those who I have promised to give a free drawing to, I hope you can understand and that I WILL finish them!

My Check List

1.) Almost finished with "Gothic Vampire" Just gotta do the edges of her lace.. then place her up in a pretty avatar/signature set for her.

2.) 6-7 Game concept drawings.  I need to have this done by SATURDAY NIGHT! ARGhhhh!!!

3.) Game Concept Drawing featuring a graveyard scene and background focusing on two character standing infront of a grave.

4.) Request from Boss at work to draw his son in anime. Fully Body Pose and something that's somewhat samurai-ish.

5.) Request to draw Pucca and Garu having a cute love love scene

6.) Request to draw fan art of Benihaha's two main characters!
She/he didn't specify what though...so I am going to do cute Chibi's since I think the art is quite cute looking ( ^-^)/

On top of this, I've been working late hours a bit at the office and busy handling the 2010 transition documents for a client that the company I work at handles.

Argh.. Febuary will be a stellar month for me!

I have always sat there ...wondered and pondered.

How do these people DO IT~!?

The ones that have art jobs and are making somewhat of a living off of it.  I'd like to think I'm just as good as half of them.  Just without the adequate or even mediocre amounts of professional work experience.

So, since I can't work any REAL LIFE job that requires me to be at it's location... I could FREE LANCE!

But where to.. how to start looking.  I googled a lot of results but most of these freelance job sites require payment... ugh or a slight part of your commission!

This is apart of my 2010 resolution to be a more serious artist!

I already sent in my portfolio to one... they had posted a ad on this pay to apply freelance website but I didn't pay.. cuz I did researching/snooping and found their personal buisness email instead.

I'd like to do art for somewhat of a living.. it would definitely make me feel a lot better about myself and not just think "Who am I kidding?" I already am 27... and no where even close to where I really want to be...

I swear if I am 30! And I'm still stuck in this muddled mixture of what I call a LIFE..I'm going to take a personal loan or something...and have a mid-life crisis! That's RIGHT BABY.. BRIGHT...
